Peter Kurka: "PC CADDIE offers us structure, speed and prospects"

The future of golf is digital – and Golfclub Lippstadt e.V. is fully committed to this path. Since 1 March 2025, the club has been working with PC CADDIE – and has since benefited from optimised processes, digital services for members and a new level of efficiency in day-to-day operations. Chairman and Managing Director Peter Kurka gives an all-round positive interim assessment: “For a modern golf club, digitalisation is not a trend, but a prerequisite for growth, service quality and competitiveness,” says the management professional, who has been running GC Lippstadt for over 15 years. “With PC CADDIE, we have a system that not only works but also helps us move forward strategically.” Kurka had previously gained this positive experience in Lüdersburg (Schloss Lüdersburg) and Pulheim (GolfCity).

The introduction of PC CADDIE covers key club areas such as membership administration, tournament organisation and digital tee-time allocation. The team is already fully up to speed – three staff members use the software daily. Kurka emphasises: “The training was quick and effective. Our staff were productive in no time – thanks in part to the excellent support provided by Kerstin Mäscher from PC CADDIE.”

But the added value is not only evident internally: 95 per cent of the 1,200 members are already using the PC CADDIE app – an impressive figure that shows just how naturally digital services are accepted in golf today. From tee time bookings and tournament information to personal communication – the club is now closer and more user-friendly for its members than ever before. With a clear eye on the future, GC Lippstadt is pursuing ambitious marketing goals: strengthening customer loyalty, attracting around 180 new members annually, and lowering the average age from the current 58 to 52. Kurka is convinced: “Digitalisation helps us reach new target groups, simplify processes and make everyday golf more attractive. PC CADDIE is exactly the right partner for this.”

Nor has the potential been exhausted by any means: “We are already using around 70 per cent of PC CADDIE’s functions – and every day we discover new ways in which PC CADDIE can improve our club.” With its 27-hole course, the PGA Golf Academy and a growing community spread across 110 hectares of scenic grounds, Lippstadt Golf Club offers ideal conditions – both in terms of sport and infrastructure. The introduction of PC CADDIE underlines this: the club is not just thinking about today, but is investing digitally in tomorrow. Peter Kurka’s conclusion: “PC CADDIE offers us structure, speed and perspective!”
