PC CADDIE is a “loyal friend”

It’s rare to receive a letter from a customer. All the more so when it contains such heartfelt and appreciative words. Andrea Rumpf from the LICHER-GOLF-CLUB FÜRSTLICHES HOFGUT KOLNHAUSEN e.V. took the opportunity, before retiring, to write to PC CADDIE to thank them for their partnership spanning several decades. “This is a special moment for us,” explains Benedikt Schmedding, founder and owner of PC CADDIE, “We have many long-standing partnerships among our more than 750 customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, “but we have never received such a wonderful letter before”.
 

Andrea Rumpf begins her letter to the Schmedding couple with a look back at the early days with PC CADDIE: “In 1993, we sat together in a site hut and you explained the PC CADDIE programme to me on a laptop. As I didn’t come from the golf industry, you might just as well have been telling me about building a moon base. These are memories that have stayed with me throughout my entire career.” Naturally, Benedikt Schmedding smiled at this point and also recalled the early days in Lich. “Essentially, Ms Rumpf and the Lich Golf Club have grown alongside us. Each in their own place, yet connected by a friendship built on mutual respect.”

At the end of her letter, Andrea Rumpf sums up: “Now the time has come and I am retiring. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a long period of good cooperation and professional support. No matter what it was, every problem was solved. The Lich Golf Club and PC CADDIE have come a long way together, and a lot has happened in the golf industry since then. I can highly recommend PC CADDIE to any club and have done so in the past. To me, PC CADDIE is like a loyal friend. — I wish you all the best for the future, both professionally and personally.”
