PC CADDIE incorporates artificial intelligence — what this means for you
Our development team has been working intensively for several months to integrate AI directly into PC CADDIE – not as an experiment, but as practical support for your day-to-day club operations. Here you can find out what’s planned, what’s changing and what’s staying the same.
Your software will remain just as you know it. All existing functions and customisations will be fully retained. There will be no system change and no need to reconfigure anything. AI will be integrated as an additional layer – it expands what PC CADDIE can do without altering what you’re used to. Data protection and tax compliance requirements will, of course, be fully adhered to.
What’s new: In future, you’ll be able to use your own club data more freely – for analysis, planning and marketing. And you’ll control PC CADDIE via simple text input in natural language, without having to search through menus.
Three applications that our Head of Development, Falk von Wildenradt, has already described in detail:
- Person Copilot at the counter: When a member is called up, information from Timetable, TOURNAMENTS and ACCOUNT is immediately consolidated. Via the Person Copilot, you can also access and analyse all personal data using natural language – for example: “At what time does John Doe prefer to play?”
- Edit Timetable rules easily and securely: In future, rules can be described in natural language and will be automatically incorporated into the technical configuration of PC CADDIE – for example: “Set a frost ban on the 18-hole Course for today until 10:00.” The AI simultaneously checks whether the change affects other rules and highlights any potential conflicts.
- Reactivating inactive members: The system identifies members who, after a period of regular activity, have not played for some time, and automatically provides the club office with suggestions for reactivation measures and for making contact.
Shaping the future: the AI Advisory Board. We know that the best use cases come from real-world experience. That is why we are setting up an AI Advisory Board, in which selected decision-makers from the industry will be directly involved – to jointly prioritise what is developed next.
