Embracing the digital future: the An der Pinnau Golf Club

The An der Pinnau Golf Club was founded in 1982 and, with its 27 holes, is a beautifully landscaped course offering competitive golf in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. We offer an extensive sports programme, but also plenty of space for your own private round of golf. A large youth section, communal activities, a relaxed atmosphere on the club terrace and many volunteers and staff ensure that you can enjoy ‘the best time of the day’ here.
 

Club Managing Director Daniel Schlüter talks about the ongoing expansion of the now over 100 hectares of playing area, designed for enjoyable golf and a unique experience of nature. “The enjoyment of playing the 27-hole course for our more than 1,400 members and many guests is constantly being enhanced through digitalisation and our marketing strategy,” explains the DGV-certified golf business manager.
 

In the vicinity of the metropolis of Hamburg and in competition with over 50 golf courses, it is important to “stay on the ball”. When establishing the club’s future-oriented software system, the club situated on the eponymous Pinnau stream opted for PC CADDIE. Both Daniel Schlüter and Head of Administration Jürgen Thieme had had very positive experiences at previous clubs and initiated the switch to PC CADDIE in the winter of 2022/2023. “We knew the system would work smoothly right from the start,” recalls Daniel Schlüter, “so we had no concerns whatsoever about its baptism of fire in day-to-day tournament operations or membership administration.” With this professional ease, Daniel Schlüter, who has a single handicap of 3.7, also enjoys playing a round himself on Course A, B or C – preferably at sunrise.
