Accessibility and Eye-Able on the PC CADDIE://online service pages and the app
We are committed to digital inclusion and accessibility. To this end, we have integrated Eye-Able technology into our service pages and app. Accessibility means designing digital services in such a way that they can be used by everyone – regardless of physical or cognitive limitations.
What is Eye-Able?
Eye-Able automatically enhances websites and apps with accessibility features such as:
- Adjustable font sizes and contrast
- Text-to-speech and keyboard navigation
- Voice control or simplified layout
This makes usage significantly easier for people with visual, motor or learning impairments.
We are constantly working to ensure that key services such as tournament registration and tee time booking are accessible to everyone – in line with the Accessibility Enhancement Act. This Act comes into force on 28 June 2025 and applies to all websites.
With Eye-Able, we use the same software that the German Golf Association makes available to its members. More information on this:
Having trouble with the Eye-Able settings?
The settings and options in Eye-Able are new to many, and people are bound to be experimenting with them. That’s why there’s an additional feature:
Under the Accessibility menu item (Service page / App left-hand menu), you will find not only our accessibility statement but also a ‘Reset button’: With a single click, you can reset your personal Eye-Able settings to the default.
This feature is useful, for example, if Eye-Able is hidden after you’ve made custom adjustments. When Eye-Able is hidden, it’s difficult to undo changes – a reset provides a simple solution.
If you or your customers are having difficulties with this, please send us a quick email to support@pccaddie-online.de.
