A birdie is better than par!

A new addition to the PC CADDIE family in the far south of Germany: PC CADDIE founder Benedikt Schmedding and his team welcome GC Erding. Club manager Marc Ober is delighted with the club committee’s decision, explaining that “an all-in-one solution offers more and more advantages in day-to-day operations”, and adding, “Our members, as well as our guests, particularly prefer the modern methods of booking tee times and making payments online. What’s more, membership administration is handled conveniently and without errors. Of course, you could use standalone solutions for all the course’s needs, from catering to the driving range, but that’s inefficient.”

Marc Ober was already familiar with PC CADDIE from his 10 years of management experience before taking on responsibility at GC Erding. With a twinkle in his eye, he compares the benefit PC CADDIE offers as follows: “It’s like playing golf. Why should I be satisfied with a par when I can also play a birdie?”

In 2023, the club will celebrate its 50th anniversary and look back on a diverse expansion of its facilities across more than 70 hectares: the most recent major investments were the newly opened driving range, a solar power system, the refurbishment of the car parks, the construction of a new caddy hall and a 3-hole short game area. To maintain full control and offer both members and green fee players an attractive facility, the club is relying on digital expertise and is celebrating its anniversary with PC CADDIE.
