30 years of dedication at 2,000 metres – PC CADDIE says thank you, Simone Imhof

After three decades of dedicated service at Riederalp Golf Club, Simone Imhof will be stepping down at the end of October 2025 to embark on the next chapter of her life. Since she joined the club in 1996, she has shaped it with passion, organisational skill and tireless dedication – always close to the members and with a keen instinct for everything that brings the club’s daily life to life.

The Riederalp Golf Club is regarded as one of the highest-altitude golf courses in Europe. At an altitude of around 2,000 metres, surrounded by the impressive Valais mountain landscape and with views of the Aletsch Glacier, it combines sporting challenge with an extraordinary natural backdrop. In this special setting, Simone Imhof has kept the organisational threads together – reliably, competently and with a genuine enjoyment of her role.

Over the years, PC CADDIE has been her daily companion. From day one, she found the team to be “very friendly, helpful – simply brilliant in every way”. She followed developments in membership management and tournament organisation with interest and enthusiasm, and actively supported
them. She is particularly grateful for the support provided by Tamara Ghisletti, Eva Ringelstein and the late Heike Richter. PC CADDIE founder Benedikt Schmedding also regularly visited the club office in person – to offer advice, exchange ideas and brainstorm together.

In her farewell message to PC CADDIE, Simone Imhof writes: “I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the pleasant, consistently trusting and professional collaboration. I have greatly valued our exchanges and look back on this time together with joy.”

Simone Imhof is now looking forward to “plenty of free time”. Her wish for PC CADDIE’s future: “Keep up the good work on further developing the software and continue to stick together as a team.”

The entire PC CADDIE team says thank you, dear Simone – for 30 years of trust, warmth and shared journeys. We wish you all the best and many sunny hours on the Riederalp!
