Riding the momentum – on the road to success behind the scenes too, thanks to PC CADDIE outsourcing!

The first golf club to open in Brandenburg after German reunification was the Berliner Golf & Country Club Motzener See. Designed by Kurt Rossknecht, the course continues to attract around 1,000 members and green fee players, even after more than 30 years. To ensure smooth club administration, the management has always relied on PC CADDIE. For a good 15 months now, the club has also been outsourcing its entire membership fee and invoicing management: PC CADDIE handles all membership billing, SEPA payments and invoicing for the club. “The main reason for this,” says Patric Neeser, Regional Development Manager, “lies in the shortage of skilled workers and demographic change. Using a professional service provider enables us to operate independently of these trends.”

In Patric Neeser’s view, the two PC CADDIE experts, Edda Winter and Kerstin Mäscher, were primarily responsible for the professional implementation of the PC CADDIE software to meet the club’s specific requirements. His assessment of the duo’s support can be summed up in one word: “Mega!”. The club may switch to the web-based version of PC CADDIE in the future.

Patric Neeser (47) also holds the role of Regional General Manager for the “Berlin Capital Club”. This additional responsibility is possible because, since 16 April 2025, the experienced golf manager Eric Marschke has been managing on-site operations as General Manager at the Berlin Golf & Country Club Motzener See and reports to Patric Neeser. Just a few days ago, the club once again set new standards with the staging of the first Bernhard Langer International Amateur. Eric Marschke commented: “Participants, spectators and officials spoke very highly of the golf course and the catering. Now it’s time to ‘keep the momentum going’ – and behind the scenes, the PC CADDIE software provides reliable support to the management.”
