In the team game "Viennese Waltz", everyone plays their own ball, but only the best results per hole are counted. The best result on the first hole, the two best results on the second hole, and the three best results on the third hole are counted. Then it starts all over again, i.e. the best result on hole 4, the two best results on hole 5, etc. - hence the name of the game "Viennese Waltz" from the rhythm 1-2-3, 1-2-3.
