The new Samsung mobile device caused more game flow and the overview of the results at referee and game management with its GPS tracking of flights and touch surface. Its resistance to rain, sand and dust make it perfect for the golf course.
The BB-Masters participants intuitively understood the new user interface and gladly input their results.
Telephony was locked, as required by the rules.
The golf enthusiasts and observers followed the betting players with intermediate results and current placement very cozy, before the three FullHD screens in the clubhouse or from home, via the Internet. At the start, the PC CADDIE://online team with Axel Heck and Mirko Kurze instructed the players about the equipment and the scoring area. If no results were recorded for over 25 minutes they went on the court and clarified the cause. So they helped the organizers of the BB-Masters to secure the scoring quality, under the management of the PGA Germany, tournament director Andy Duck. A golfer forgot to return his mobile device on the 2nd day. Thanks to the GPS tracking, the person could be identified and the mobile device was recovered on time for the next start.
