In the last few days, several golf facilities have reported problems with establishing secure SSL connections to the PC CADDIE://online platform. As a result, no online bookings of tee times, coaches or tournaments/events could be made there.
The reason for this is outdated Windows Server systems (Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, SBS 2011) or outdated Windows Client systems (Windows 7, 8, 8.1), which are still in use but not supported anymore. The connection errors are based on these operating systems no longer supporting current SSL encryption algorithms (e.g. TLS 1.2). However, due to German and Swiss data protection requirements for the transmission of personal data, it is not possible for us to provide an alternative solution with less security requirements.
