The future of golf is digital - and Golfclub Lippstadt e.V. is following this path consistently. The club has been working with PC CADDIE since 1 March 2025 - and has since benefited from optimized processes, digital services for members and new efficiency in day-to-day organization. Board member and Managing Director Peter Kurka draws an all-round positive interim balance: "For a modern golf club, digitalization is not a trend, but a prerequisite for growth, service quality and competitiveness," says the management professional, who has been managing GC Lippstadt for over 15 years. "With PC CADDIE, we have a system that not only works, but also helps us strategically." Kurka previously had this positive experience at Lüdersburg (Schloss Lüdersburg) and Pulheim (GolfCity).
The introduction of PC CADDIE includes central club areas such as membership administration, tournament organization and digital start time allocation. The team is already well trained - three employees use the software on a daily basis. Kurka emphasizes: "The training was quick and effective. Our employees were productive in a short space of time - also thanks to the excellent support provided by Kerstin Mäscher from PC CADDIE."
But the added value is not only evident internally: 95% of the 1,200 members already use the PC CADDIE app - an impressive rate that shows how naturally digital services are accepted in golf today. From booking tee times and tournament information to personal communication - the club is now closer to its members and more user-friendly than ever before. With a clear view to the future, GC Lippstadt is pursuing ambitious marketing goals: Strengthening customer loyalty, gaining around 180 new members every year and rejuvenating the age structure from the current 58 years to 52 years. Kurka is convinced: "Digitalization helps us to reach new target groups, simplify processes and make everyday golf more attractive. PC CADDIE is exactly the right partner for this."
The potential is also far from exhausted: "We already use around 70 percent of the PC CADDIE functions - and discover new ways in which PC CADDIE makes our club better every day." With its 27-hole course, the PGA Golf Academy and a growing community on 110 hectares of scenic land, GC Lippstadt offers ideal conditions - both in sporting and structural terms. The introduction of PC CADDIE underlines the fact that the club is not only thinking about today, but also investing digitally in tomorrow. Peter Kurka concludes: "PC CADDIE offers us structure, speed and perspective!"
