In just a few days, the time will come: Switzerland will receive a new, totally revised Data Protection Act, or revDSG for short. Companies and organizations will have to adapt to the new regulations as of September 1, 2023. Similar to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, data processors in Switzerland will have to fulfill new obligations.

Joachim Geffken is the managing director of GKMB, the market-leading website service provider in Germany and Switzerland. In doing so, Geffken also advises golf courses and golf associations on communication and data protection issues in golf. He has already spoken at this year's PC CADDIE GOLF KnowHow Update on the amended legal situation and is very familiar with the practical challenges of the revDSG.
Axel Heck is the managing director of PC CADDIE://online GmbH & Co KG. He has already prepared his company twice for such challenges: once in the context of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and secondly already for the revDSG now pending in Switzerland.
