Flags or Flag competition

No matter what you call it, the flag waves when the last ball comes to rest.
Either by reaching the maximum gross number of strokes or the maximum number of strokes for net game / Playing-Handicap. The round can even go over 18 holes, if the golfer is in a very good shape. And then everyone is waiting for the winner of the day, which makes this form of gaming particularly sociable,  so that it is generally chosen at the season opening, on public holidays or in holiday regions. In fact, innumerable golfers in red-and-white play on August 1st, Switzerland's national holiday, and countless numbers of Swiss flags are blooming on the golf courses.
