During her studies to become a business graduate, Franziska Steinhorst gained her first PC CADDIE experience at GC Braunschweig. Until the enthusiastic golfer had finished her academic degree, she was responsible for betting operations there. "The IT system and I hit it off right away," Franziska Steinhorst smiles. However, this bond was interrupted when she had to work with other IT systems over several stations, e.g. two years at GC Lüdersburg, and after completing the GMVD qualification "Senior Golf Manager".
For the past nine years, Franziska Steinhorst has been the general manager at Golf & Country Club Am Hockenberg, and since last season she has also been back at work with PC CADDIE. "Together with PC CADDIE managing director Marc Spangenberger, we were able to quickly convince our board of directors of the advantages. In particular, the introduction of the World Handicap system clearly spoke in favor of switching to PC CADDIE," recalls Franziska Steinhorst.
"A big Thank you goes to Stephanie Sonntag, who especially in the changeover period as a direct contact person of PC CADDIE stood by us at any time with words and deeds. In particular, the annual accounts and billing of annual memberships ran smoothly," says the single-handicap player (6.7). In the meantime, PC CADDIE is also used for the installation of monitors on the 1 and 10, as well as for controlling the hot spotlights on the driving range and the ball machine there, which "was even connected personally by PC CADDIE://online managing director Axel Heck," notes Franziska Steinhorst and adds: "We have very good experience with the PC CADDIE APP, which is easy to use both for us in the club secretariat and for our members.
It's no wonder that the Golf & Country Club Am Hockenberg recently won the "Golf Post Community Award", because everything is just right at this club: from IT to the chemistry among the golfers.
