The first golf club to open in Brandenburg after reunification was the Berliner Golf & Country Club Motzener See. Designed by Kurt Rossknecht, the course continues to attract around 1,000 members and green fee players even after more than 30 years. The management has always relied on PC CADDIE for smooth club administration. For a good 15 months, the club has also been outsourcing its entire membership fee and invoice management: PC CADDIE handles all member billing, SEPA runs, and invoice runs for the club. "The main reason for this," says Patric Neeser, Regional Development Manager, "is the shortage of skilled workers and demographic change. Using a professional service provider allows us to operate independently of these trends."
According to Patric Neeser, the two PC CADDIE experts Edda Winter and Kerstin Mäscher were primarily responsible for the professional establishment of the PC CADDIE software for the specific club conditions. His assessment of the duo's support can be summed up in one word: "Mega!" The club may switch to the web-based version of PC CADDIE in the future.
Patric Neeser (47) also holds the position of Regional General Manager for the Berlin Capital Club. This additional responsibility is possible because, since April 16, 2025, experienced golf manager Eric Marschke has been managing the on-site operations as General Manager at the Berlin Golf & Country Club Motzener See and reporting to Patric Neeser. Just a few days ago, the club once again set new standards with the staging of the first Bernhard Langer International Amateur. Eric Marschke comments: "Participants, spectators, and officials praised the golf course and the catering to the skies. Now it's time to keep up the momentum" – and in the background, the PC CADDIE software reliably supports the management.
