Dear PC CADDIE customers,
Since January 1, 2025, the legal reporting obligation for electronic cash register systems according to § 146a AO applies. All PC CADDIE cash registers must be reported via ELSTER by July 31, 2025 at the latest. For cash registers purchased after July 1, 2025, a deadline of one month after purchase applies.
We have prepared all the necessary steps in PC CADDIE so that you can safely fulfill this obligation. The declaration is made digitally via "My ELSTER" by uploading an XML file, which you can create directly in PC CADDIE. This file contains all the necessary technical information for the TSE connection.
Important: Please note that the acquisition date of the cash register must also be entered as a field in the declaration. You can find this date in your accounting documents. Alternatively - in consultation with your tax advisor - the date of the TSE installation can also be used. In the case of PC CADDIE POS systems that have been in use for many years, the legal requirements are fully met when the TSE is set up.
